I have two vehicles I had Bobby with Lonestar work on. The 2016 chrysler town and country had a complete transmission rebuild. It was the best price in the Austin, Round Rock area and he did the job in a very reasonable amount of time and it performs like new. I had the work done a couple of months ago and it seems to shift better and better the more I drive it.The second vehicle is a 2013 Ford Explorer. The waterpump was going out. Bobby replaced the waterpump, all the timing chains, guides, tensioner and compensators for about half the price the 3 other shops (including Ford) quoted me. Again, the result was great, and I don't have to worry about the timing chains or waterpump for another 100K miles or more.Great shop, great people, I will be back.

We have been using Lonestar for our fleet maintenance, repair and body work for just over 18 months with great success. Bobby and his team have proven to us that we can rely on them to not only keep our vehicles safe and reliable, they have the knowledge and skill to diagnose and repair, not just go off of what a computer tells them to do. I appreciate not having to micromanage the fleet, they have repeatedly shown us that they will come up with the repair options that are the fastest and most cost effective for our company. Bobby and the crew have always taken care of me here. I brought in my truck and a car i recently acquired. Transmission fluid flush on the truck. On the car they dropped the tank, cleaned it out and all the lines, replaced fuel pump assembly and filter.Same day job for both vehicles. They are not cheap, but you can trust them.

Inspection was quick. Something strange happened when I went to leave as the check engine light came on. Seemed to be spurious, though, as after some fiddling it hasn't come back on so all is good.

This shop is great. They're very thorough in their diagnosis and never leave a job half done, with prices that are more than fair. When they go above and beyond (like buying a backup camera cable after the one I provided was faulty) it's easy to be a repeat customer.

Highly recommend these folks! Take yer car here. Bobby was honest and explained things in detail, and let me know the dealership might fix my problem for free due to a recall. What a nice guy! I took it to the dealership and they wanted to charge me over the top. I took it back to Bobby and he saved me more than $400. It’s clear they’ve got a good family business, I recommend them whole-heartedly.

Amazing service! As a lady, I felt safe and well taken care of. Came here for my vehicle inspection for my Tesla, and they got everything done in a timely manner. The office smells really good and they have a comfy couch to wait at inside. The restrooms were also very clean. You can feel the family vibes at this shop!

Came in without an appointment after stopping by and calling 5 other inspection shops. The Lone Star Team was able to take care of my inspection while in the middle of a shop move after all other local shops turned me away. They definitely went above and beyond making sure I was taken care of amongst their own chaos. If you’re looking for a helpful, knowledge, polite mechanic this is the place. All other local spot pale in comparison.

I went in thinking there was an issue with my daughters brakes, but found out it was with the suspension and tires. Bobby was very helpful showing me the parts that had worn down and causing the problem. We could have had a serious issue if not catching it in time. I am so thankful that they diagnosed it. Bobby and his Dad run a great, professional, and honest business. I've been taking my cars here for years and have always had a great experience. Bobby Campos & his crew have been some of the best people to do business with in my entire life. He's taken care of all the vehicles I've ever owned for about 12 years or so. Not once have I had any issues with his services and he's always gone the extra mile to take care of my needs. Bobby is very honest and will always give you his best advice in regards to anything concerning your vehicle. On top of all this, he's just a hell of a guy who has the clients best interest at heart. First and foremost my car is my third child and dont trust people other than myself working on my car. However, I can say Bobby and Cindy have been awesome. They have done excellent work to my transmission and my car is back on the streets hurting feelings again. I would highly recommend Lonestar transmission and auto for anyone looking for a trustworthy shop, with great work, and awesome turnaround time. Bobby replaced my brothers catalytic converter, a job that had been botched by our previous mechanic. Upon pickup, my trucks alternator went bad - Go figure! Bobby got it in the shop ASAP and replaced the alternator the same day! I've never felt so taken care of at an auto shop before. I feel like family. Thoroughly pleased.

I know that "honest mechanic" may sound like an oxymoron, but Bobby is just that - He's an honest man who cares about customer satisfaction. I had Lone Star install a new transmission into my Dodge 2500 diesel last year, along with other minor repairs since then, & I've been very pleased with the turnaround time, customer service, and overall results. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this repair shop because they have proved their honesty to me in a huge way. They normally do all of the service work on my company vehicles, so I sent my dad to this shop when his transmission started acting up on his van. My Dad first took his van to the Honda dealership and they said it would cost about $6,000.00 for a new transmission. When my Dad took it to Lone Star they found out that it didn't need anything more than a fluid change... Basically they saved my parents $6,000.00. So how can I not say something positive about this company... It's a family owned and operated business and I trust them!
